Clean Eating is more a viewpoint than a diet. It has to do with making the quality of the food you consume the utmost priority. It has to do with being an educated consumer and becoming enlightened about where your food comes from and exactly what’s actually in it. Michael Pollan, author of Omnivore’s Issue, A Natural History of 4 Meals, “… if your great-grandmother wasn’t familiar with it, you most likely want to stay away from it.”.
Did you ever consider how the food you consume gets to your table? What are the effects to your wellness, the item and the environment. How is it grown? Is it genetically-modified and doused with unsafe pesticides? Are animals raised in a clean environment and treated in a humane way? How much fuel is made use of to obtain your items to you. Is it originating from your neighborhood or halfway worldwide?
Clean Eating is not only about the food we put in our bodies, it also takes into consideration how our food production affects the world. Clean eating promotes a sustainable and humane food supply while connecting the dots to problems such as GMOs, the increase in a range of health problems, and disease-resistant germs.
Eat Whole Foods.
Eat foods in their natural state.
Eat foods without any ingredient label.
Consume foods that human beings have not changed in any way.
